Hey guys!

Ah, now this is a very old animation. I remember when my grandma asked me if I wanted to go to animation camp, and I at the time I was really good at Adobe Flash. I also remember being lost on the first day trying to get to the camp. I think it started at 11am and it took me 2 hours to find the place. When I finally got there, a man named Jon Akre greeted me and also introduced me to the rest of the crew. He basically talked about what we were going to be doing for the week, the animation camp only lasted for a week.

There were so many things we did at the animation camp, ranging from stop motion animation, to digital animation. In the end, we had to do a final project, we could make anything we wanted which was super cool. I ended up using Adobe flash for my final project. To see Jon Akre very exited to see my animation was a great feeling. After everyone was done showing their animation, we ended up getting a certificate. I don't remember where I put it though.

Process

I think I only had like 3 days to finish this project, so it was crunch time mate. (งツ)ว I first started with the background and added in a gradient overlay to the shapes, then I added in the rock where the stickman would sit at the beginning of the animation. From there I drew the stickman on each frame, slowly making him walk across the screen. I think animating the ball was a lot easier than animating the stickman. At the time I didn't use tweening since I wanted to make it look authentic rather than making the ball slid across the screen. In the end, I added in a blur effect to the ball to make it look like it was zooming across the screen.

Inspiration

At the time of making this animation, I was really inspired by Terkoiz and Hyun. Both are amazing animators. Terkoiz was well known in the animation community followed by Hyun. I believe right now that they make a lot of animations for League of Legends, a video game that is very popular at the moment. Hyun also has a website called Hyun's dojo. For anyone who is interested in animation, I recommend visiting the website.

The sound track for this game is just amazing! Definitely worth a listen.

After looking back at my past projects,
I'm definitely getting back into 2d animation.

I hope you guys enjoyed the animation, and until next time, peace, and thank you.

Have a wonderful day
