The Diary Game: From Setbacks To Success (13-06-2025)

Steemit Greetings, everyone. Trust you're all doing great? It's an amazing day and I'm grateful for the gift of life. I quickly want to tell you all about my Friday's activities before I go to bed. Friday, was a day I successfully achieved something I've been working towards the past three weeks and also got my first order in my baking journey. These are my highlights and let me break them into the thinnest details.

In the morning, when I woke up yesterday, I had my bath before doing my chores. I had my reasons for using this order, bath before chores. I got dressed and went to the office to finish up with my device setting so I could begin work again. When I got to the office, I met with the technical personnel and to my best knowledge and from what I gathered, he alone could help me get done with this process but unfortunately, he told me he couldn't be of help to me and referred me to someone I had gone to already. I wasn't prepared for another back and forth with the person he referred me to, so I left his office, got myself into one of the chairs in the office and pondered on the next step I should take.

While still pondering on the next thing to do, the lady I was referred back to by the technical personnel walked into the office and was even surprised to see me there and asked what brought me to the office. I told her I've been having difficulties with the device she had onboarded, had to repeat it so I won't sound rude or disrespectful because I remember vividly that I had told her this before and she said she can't offer any solution. She asked me to text her on WhatsApp so she could send me details on how to rectify the issue, although I had no data at that moment, I had to borrow and text her but this lady asked me to go back to the location I was onboarded before she could send me the details.

I was so angry and furious, I picked up my bag and left the office. I strolled a few kilometer away from the office and found a space to sit out and think on my life journey, I hate situations that puts me in this mood because I've been showing up for the longest but can't boast of tangible achievement. I almost got depressed but had to hold myself. I looked up and saw a lady, who sold groundnut and I love groundnuts especially with garden egg. I patronized and that lifted my mood, instead of feeling down I now felt good and enjoyed my nuts.

In the afternoon, after much thoughts, I decided to return the device and forget about work so I called my boss and asked that we meet so I could return his device and he showed up immediately. I returned the kit to him and also told him of what transpired between that lady and me. After narrating all the story, he gave me transport and asked me to go back to the location so the lady won't use that as excuse. I found myself shortly inside the mini bus heading to that location, on getting there, I called the lady and informed her and she texted me the details.

It started raining and I found my way into a nearby pharmacy, firstly to avoid being soaked by the rain and secondly to buy some drugs. I stayed there for some hours before my boss asked if I was able to sign into the device but I just couldn't so we called the lady, and she texted different details for the sign in and when I finally did, I saw some mistakes she made during the onboarding process that made this whole process to not yield good result. I changed every wrong detail into the right one and I was good to go.

My boss and I then discussed on the working terms and how to set up the place to standard, I had longed prayed for this moment to come and finally it was here. We talked at length and agreed on some many things, he gave me the keys to the store and I found my way back home. On getting home, I prepared dinner because I had nothing at home for dinner and never had anything for breakfast before leaving the house. I first stepped out to the market to buy some food items, came home and made the preparation and soon dinner was set.

I had my dinner, took my bath and came on here to blog. Though it was late, I just had to do it for the love of Steemit. I went to bed shortly after blogging, that's everything about my yesterday. Thank you so much for reading and see you on my next post.
