Happy Bird Day!
Today I was surprised about a dashing sound that I heard in my place while I'm busy learning something new here in Steemit. I'm infront of my computer, researching and practicing how to enlarge an image when I heard that sound. And when I lifted my head, I saw a wonderful, magical, little creature that perched on the window pane. Good thing that my mobile camera has a battery still, so while Im sitting, I slowly, quietly grab it and took photo of it as what you can see in the first two pictures.
The images were blurred here but I will tell you that it is clear in actual. Anyway, I zoomed in the mobile camera and here is what it looks like.
Then I slowly stood up from my chair and slowly went nearer to the bird.

At first I thought it was just a tiny dove that got lost and landed on our window. But I was wrong.
Thinking that the bird might be hungry, I just went to get a tiny pieces of bread. And when I came back, I saw the bird sitting on the ledge of the window.
Only then that I realized, that of all the thousand species of birds in the wilderness, I was lucky enough to be visited by what I presumed to be belong to the specie of Love Birds.
Then again, I was slowly and quietly went nearer to the bird and I was so mesmerized with its color.
Upclose, its beak is somewhat a light orange in color, its head are combination of white and gray, the feathers are mix of powder blue and white, as well as its front body. And when it turned back, I saw that the tail has a hue of light to dark brown shades.
I think the bird loves to be captured by the camera, I told him to smile and it suddenly faced right unto the camera. Ha ha ha
When I came closer to the bird to feed him, it suddenly flew and landed on the steel bar in the balcony. Maybe I scared him away.
Then I came closer again to the bird and I took again another photo of it.
But since it's almost sunset already, I captured a darker picture. And when I decided to take another shot, the bird flew away and landed on our neighbor's roof.
It was a wonderful experience from an unexpected visitor. I wish the bird will come back again in the future. But for now, aside from those pictures that will serve as my memory from the bird, the bird left his own poop as a memento too. ;) lol
That's life I guess, some things are meant to stay, others are meant to leave, what matter is how we spend the time with them. As for me, the little time with my unexpected visitor gives me an extra ordinary happiness that will be cherished for a lifetime. And now I can declare this day as my "happy bird day".

First the neighbor's cat, now a bird. You must be an animal whisperer.
Ah you gave me an idea, for in our previous apartment I was also visited by different insects, mostly by earthworms hehehe. ;) I just wish that it will not be snake, iguana that will come next time hehehe
A visit from a snake would be terrible lol. I don't like the way iguana's look lol. I have known people who have had them as pets. They are freaky looking.
