Introducing Project Maia
Project MAiA is an advanced, machine learning system that analyzes your business, industry, and competition. It provides you with a comprehensive marketing strategy, and then guides you through each step. Our intelligent, always learning AI advises entrepreneurs, businesses, & marketers on what they need to do to grow their organization.
Our Mission
Currently, there are many marketing tools you can choose. Tools to make marketing easier, by scheduling in advance or reusing existing content. Tools that help you make incremental improvements to ad campaigns on specific platforms. And tools to keep track of analytics.
But, none of the existing social media & marketing tools help business owners understand what they should be doing and what platforms they should be using. To do that, you'd need to read "best practices" advice articles, which are often generic and using info from an unrelated industry. The only way to create a truly custom strategy is to hire an expert or outsource to a pricey marketing consultant, which is often too expensive for small businesses and marketers.
Our mission at Project Maia is to bring highly effective, custom marketing strategies to small businesses, startups, and marketers. So, we're creating a tool that analyzes the entire spectrum of your digital marketing options and advises you on what messaging, what frequency, and what platforms you should be utilizing. We then go a step further by reminding you to stay on schedule and then optimizing your marketing based on each month's performance.
This is not a simple goal and we wont accomplish it overnight, but we've made great strides over a short period of time and are rapidly integrating new platforms (like Steem) and features!
Project Maia's Current Skills
Currently, Project Maia’s main skill is creating data-driven social media post calendars.
Our system starts by processing the posting history of you and your competitors, and then provides you with a 2 week schedule that includes:
- what type of content to post
- on what day, and
- to which platform
Our current platforms include:

Though we are in the process of adding more.
We also built a reminder bot to send you messages on the day that your post is supposed to go out. This reminder comes complete with content suggestions based on what posts have performed well for you, obscure holidays, and world events (coming soon).
We’ve joined Steem to:
- Share research and content that influences our Maia Engine
- Provide updates on our progress with Maia as a product and platform
- Give insight on our mission and internal thought processes
- And test an interesting new social media platform
We'll also be collecting data, performing research, and feeding it all to our Maia Engine, helping Maia to learn about Steem. After some time, Maia will be able to create a successful strategy for growing your Steem profile, complete with content ideas, reminders, an optimized schedule and more.
In fact, as you read this post, we're exploring the Steem API to find out how we can begin pulling data directly for Maia to analyze.

There's been some confusion regarding Project Maia, and we realized we may not have been clear enough about our readiness to work with the Steem platform. We are still in the process of learning to work with the Steem API, and collecting data, and thus aren't able to offer Steem related services just yet! But, stay tuned as we'll announce Steem compatibility as soon as it's ready!
It's really exciting to see startups like @projectmaia taking interest in Steem, and I would love to see an AI that could help us grow our Steem profile pages. I for one would love to be able to find the ideal time to post on my page instead of relying on generic data from other Steem users.

The future of steem is indeed very promising. The developers surely know what they're doing. There's a lot of development going on with steem blockchain. Be sure to be updated :)
We're staying up to date on Steem as best we can. Over the last few weeks, we've consumed tons of content here on the platform about best practices, up coming features (like communities) and more!
Our own development team is hard at work working to add new features to Maia, and to build in functionality for the Steem platform, we want to be able to best help users just like you grow their pages!

Thanks! We're going to be focusing more on the posts and accounts than the blockchain, however, thanks to the fact that Steem is blockchain based, and everything stored in a ledger, we'll be able to use that blockchain to gain access to important data.
From there, it's just a matter of analyzing it and using it to provide recommendations for growing your page! We're already making it easier for Facebook page managers, Instagram accounts, and more to grow, it's just a matter of learning the Steem API, and then plugging that into the Maia Engine. Once that's done we can analyze Steem data and use it to help people on the the platform grow their accounts!
