My First Ever Net Fishing with the Local Fishermen! Part 01
Hello my dear Steemit friends!
Today I have been quite absent from Steemit and it is just now that I logging in! What a day I spent today! Wow! One of the most memorable ones!
I have always wanted to experience fishing on a boat same like the local fishermen do in Mauritius, but I have never really got the time and chance to do it! Finally today, one of my friend organized such a trip and invited me to join! I entered on the fishing boat at around 10am and came to to the shore at around 9pm!!!
But for today's post I will only show you some pics of the day and will explain more in details later on during the week!

I'm sure these photos made you feel how amazing it was! The catch was pretty good but not a great one, around 75kgs of fish caught in all!
I will come in more detail on this fishing trip soon! I am really very tired and I have to check @steemit-ironchef account too! Once I make my daily post there, I'll go straight to bed!

Hahaha! I did not take all sister, as usual I shared with everyone. The fishermen, my sisters , neighbours.
The fish were really very tasty I can assure you! Finally worth the pain!
Oh, that blue one is beautiful.. It's so big. I had never seen such a big size fish so far. Actually I was a vegetarian. After marriage I started eating fish. Now have learned making some varieties of curries. Even I make Chicken curry, chicken sukka (dry), and one or two other varieties. I like chicken biriyani. But I am not an expert. Other types of meat we have not tasted.
Now bec of arthritis slowly developing, Doctors have suggested me to include more fish in my diet.

That blue fish is really very tasty sister. Even if you overcook it, it stay soft, hmmm so yummy!
Oh I just love Indian cuisine with all the different gravies...wow! I must taste yours one day! With some pharatas or Naan!

Looks like an amazing day on the water @progressivechef! That is definitely a LONG day out there but I'm sure it was worth it. I know the blue one is a parrot fish but not sure what the fish in the first picture is but it's pretty! From the body shape it looks to be some sort or Porgy maybe?
Really an amazing day but as i am not used to stay for so long, I was very tired! The fish has the scientific name of lethrinus mahsena and we call it Dame Berry in Mauritius! It is a very tasty fish!
