Cardano has launched its Ethereum virtual machine compatible testnet, this comes after the network developer's Toolkit for building the Cardano side chain just recently. The testnet is going to be available for a short time and we regularly tweaked during it its pilot phase. Users can now run token transfers between test environments on this Cardano side chain, connecting to wallets and deploying smart contracts to it as well as decentralized applications.

Chile is a blockchain sports token and it is now shifting from being a token, it is actually role out its own layer one blockchain called Chili's chain 2.0. This is a move away from the Ethereum network to create its own blockchain. The test net is actually launched in March last year and it is a fork of the BNB chain operating on a Proof of Stake Authority Consensus mechanism. While not operating on the Ethereum network, the Chili blockchain is still going to be Ethereum compatible because everyone wants to connect to Ethereum, everyone wang Ethereum liquidity, developers, access all that different stuff. They are going to be offering watch to earn games, play goes earn games, NFTs, sport event, and all kinds of things.

It is launching with 11 active validators and only third-party developers approved by Chillis are initially going to be allowed to deploy smart contracts to the Chilli chain. The Chillis CEO has explained how they go from being just a token to a blockchain ecosystem. Starkware has announced plans to open source its zero-knowledge technology called Starknet improver. This is the engine that Starkware lay 2 uses to roll up tons of transactions and compress them, making it easy for the Ethereum main chain to scale up. The technology was released back in 2020 and Starkware has been heavily criticized for holding up to the IP for this and not open source the code. Now, this is going to allow for any project or network to make use of the technology. It's already being used by Immutable X, Seraxi, and DYDX. Starkware is also partnered with Chainlink Oracle services because everybody is partnering with Chainlink and a mainnet integration is also expected to happen in the coming months.
