I'm not surprised. Kevin is bound to think like all the rest of the Hollywood crew, and even if he didn't there's a price to pay for independent thought. Cool he gave time for an interview, though.

I learned awhile ago to not go to Kevin Smith for anything political. He's a grown man he cares about superhero movies and comic books more than a war or solving a math problem.
Totally agree with what he said.
Don't be too hard on him. His liberal views have worked very well for him. You might have gotten him to think. He might think that every normal person thinks the way he does and he sees you and likes you and thinks your normal so he wonders why you 'see' the 'divide'.
I agree with what he said but I felt like he was very conservative. Well he knows the gig I guess, after all the business he's in doesn't allow him to be controversial too much.
