Ok, now down to the nitty gritty.

Challenge 1 – Tuesday 27th September – Sunday 2nd October

As a writer it’s always positive to learn how to internalise your thoughts and feelings. This is good for many reasons, especially when planning to create or describe an experience. If you are able to describe clearly how a certain situation would make you feel at the time, in depth, then this broadens the emotions that your readers will have.

We plan for you to create this scenario.

This week, starting today, the 27th September and running until Sunday 2nd October we will be resteeming twice daily, or more, articles about a personal boundary that you have overcame and reflected upon and came to a positive outcome.

Please note: These can be as low key as a story about how you overcame your fear of leaving your house, or as outlandish as the time your entire life flashed across your eyes in a near death wing-suit accident.

We are looking for writing excellence, you will not be judged on how crazy your story is. But it’s always exciting to hear a death defying story – don’t let us stop you!

There will also be tips and tricks from us on how to connect with the challenge and write on a better level tomorrow from @honeyscribe. And, if you want to start sharing and exchanging straight away you can join #writing-exchange on steemit chat

Challenge at a glance:

• 1 non-fiction personal story on overcoming something.

• We resteem twice daily, or more

Rules – Please read carefully:

• Although the steem, steemit categories has great personal depth, please try to avoid writing in these categories. We want to hear how awesome YOU are, and not steemit.

• Please, only 1 post per user, per week – we’d like to cure world hunger straight away, but we also need to recognise this project is in very early stages of development. So our reach is limited as of now. We plan for much more later.

• Remember the theme ‘Positivity’ your post MUST have a positive outcome, and it MUST be something you’ve learned. Personal reflection is key.

• Anything written negatively won’t be considered, neither will hate, trolling, abuse or any of the go to norms for people that like to disrupt internet communities.

• Please remember and use the tag positivity at the bottom where tags should go! Thank you.

Most importantly, have fun doing it, and good luck!

hmm... if you upvote my comment, it will definitely have a positive outcome

Looks like your wish was granted. :)

Maaaaaybe I will give this a shot :) although my writing is often a little bleak!

Give it a shot! Please do - we also have #writing-exchange in steemit chat for help :)

You know what, @jamtaylor - bleak writing is absolutely the best because you can always turn it around in the end and share a lesson from that dark experience. I can't wait to read it.

i have good stories with happy ending but they are too personal and they will be forever in blockchain. looking forward to other's people writings, we need a bit of positivity these days.

One of my favorite quotes of all time is:

"Write hard and clear about what hurts" ~ Ernest Hemingway

No problem - maybe next week then. I'll learn from that. Next time I will try and inspire people in other ways

I already have an idea... Just how to make it into a story is the great question... Hmm...

Following, so count me in ;D

Awesome guys already making moves! Maybe you can check my latest post. On creating your life and living it. Can you also specify the correct tags for resteem? Thank you

positivity is the tag!

great idea! Im an artist and writing is not so easy for me, but I think I will try to write something :)

You are welcome to contribute art! Just let us know how it connects to the challenge. :)

Hi @positivity, I just stopped back to let you know that your post was one of my favourite reads today and is included in my Steemit Ramble. You can read what I said about your post here.

Awesome! I read it. Please take part :) - watch out for tomorrow when we post

Interesting! So many possibilities. I will see if I can scrape together some time to write something good for this. The real challenge will be to keep from being too humblebraggy...
