Everything in today's world seems to be in a hurry. We lead hectic lives, with a long list of tasks to complete before the end of the day. We often asked ourselves, "We have been running the entire day, what did we really accomplish today?" after the crazy dash each day and feeling completely exhausted at the end of the day.

Therefore, make it a point to appreciate the present moment of our everyday lives. Don't dwell on the past or be concerned about the future. Simply take a deep breath, become conscious of our surroundings, and connect to our current feelings. We may have driven through beautiful scenery at times, but since we were too engrossed or preoccupied to care, we did not notice.

So, every day, take some time to be still and enjoy the present moment. As a result, rather than going through each day like a zombie, we will appreciate the beauty of each day until we are present. Remember the present is a gift to all of us, lets slow down and appreciate the gift.
