Crypto has been moving a lot the last few months. Bitcoin made a number of small strides while building up to some recent big moves. The alt coins have been following behind nicely and as can be expected over time, interest in the space starts to grow again. I've been watching domain sales as I do and today's list has at least one obvious crypto domain. This is always nice to see as it reaffirms that the crypto space is still growing and not just a trend that has been left for the next big thing. Anyway, let's take a look at the domains!

About the Names
Today's list contained 18 .com domains, 1 .tube, and 1 .be.
I like a few names on today's list. I like norsecorp.com, yona.com, coverstory.com, lecu.com, and agod.com. The odd one out on the list is the sale of the .tube domain, 4u.tube. At the moment there is no site available on the domain and it looks like this is the first .tube sale reported since February of 2018! I'm surprised not only that it sold but that someone was willing to pay $12,000 dollars for this domain! Definitely not something I would invest in. These new GTLDs are still not showing the same type of return on investment that other solid domain extensions have (.com, .co, .io, .org, even .net!). Long story short, they're a much bigger gamble but it is nice to see a few sales of them now and then! Congrats to the seller.

Classic typo domain.
Typo domains used to be worth a lot of money simply because of the typo traffic that they would receive. Now thanks to search engines like Google, typos get corrected by the search engine and as a result typo domains no longer receive the same level of traffic they used to.
Obviously someone thought this name was still valuable. I doubt it gets a lot of traffic now and honestly you run the risk of a trademark infringement with this kind of name.
That makes sense. It might still be reasonable to use this for a company as large as Walmart... they got the budget for it. 🏦💰

That's a good point. It could be that Walmart themselves wanted this domain to protect their brand. That does in fact happen often.
The thing is sometimes these big companies will protect themselves by acquiring the domains through UDRP or lawsuit rather than outright buying the domain from someone. They don't want to send the message that they'll pay you or I for a domain that we grabbed because it was 'close' to their name.
Instead they'll send the message with a lawsuit that you better not go after similar protected names. And that action would be my concern with owning that name. Hopefully the buyer has a plan, because if they're not Walmart they could have Walmart coming after them in the future.
