This could be my last post…
... and not only here ...
The situation is very serious, even life threatening.
Yes, I am talking about the corona virus in Belgium...
And no, I am not afraid of getting infected...
Why am I so worried then?
Our government has announced drastic measures. But the most drastic is the closure of all catering establishments. All restaurants & cafes must close for at least 3 weeks. Period that can be extended if necessary!
But seriously, how can a real Belgian survive 3 weeks without beer ??????
I never expected that that f*ing virus would be so vicious...
I’ll try to keep you all updated…but without beer I’m not sure I’ll be able to survive this for a long time…
Never thought I'd die from a corona overdose… 😉

That's a serious problem you have now.
I just wanted to pack some !BEER and send them to Belgium, but then I remembered what you said about the Austrian beer a while ago and thought I'd better have it myself, because you might only pour it down the drain ;)

How is the situation in Austria right now?
In Belgium we are expecting a complete lockdown in the coming hours/days... just as in France. I think we are +/- 2days behind France when you look at infection graphs...

Today is the second day of lock down and if feels strange, very strange, because its relatively quiet outside. We are still working, but today we have decided that it might be better when only half the office is working and the other half stays at home - week wise. So next week I have a week off - but I cannot go anywhere, just stay at home with my family and think positive :)
I think as long as you still can go to a shop and buy food it is not so bad, but time will tell. We should stay inside, but if we need to go out for a walk we may do so, but alone or with someone who lives with you together.
The situation is here is quite good and the people are very disciplinated. There are exceptions, of course - some just don't care, but they are a minority. I believe we have learned a lot from China and sadly also from Italy, so we are better prepared for whatever might come in the next days and weeks.

Well, it's done deal here now also... lockdown!
At least, a similar scenario as yours. Staying inside but allowed to go outside with max 1 friend or familymember. And that's a problem for me... now I have to choose between my dog or my wife 😉😂

OK, I think this is the right thing to do, but we will see how Italy does - all my hopes and prayers go there now, because since yesterday the whole country is a restricted zone - that's all like the movies I used to love, but I think I don't love them anymore, except of Mad Max.
Don't lose your humor my friend and take your wife with you, because she might be able to carry more toilet paper than your dog 😂
