Coffee and Philosophy: Responsibility

in #steemtrail7 years ago (edited)

Today's mug is brought to us by a very inspirational message from our collective cosmic existence.

I notice how I seem to find themes daily that match my own line of thought and energetic output. I'm a firm believer in the law of attraction and that we are all fundamentally at our core simply energy. It brings me to the topic of today and that is responsibility. The best way that I can sum up my feelings and thoughts of this concept is that we cannot exist in contrast with our own self. If we believe that we have control over our own minds or life then we are in turn responsible for ourselves. If we don't like something we are responsible for changing it and making excuses as to why we can't or don't is simply limiting our own growth and ability. I personally shirk the victim mentality all together and prefer to look within myself as to why I feel how I feel and I don't need or want validation from anyone else. I find it to be completely contradictory to consider ourselves developed and aware and then turn and blame others for anything we don't like or want in our life. Either we control ourselves or we are at the mercy of a cruel and uncaring world where we are perpetually the victim of others or chance. I prefer to be responsible for myself. What are your thoughts? Namaste.

Great post! I believe that people control their destiny! If you don't like something you should work to change it. If something bad happens to you, explore options to remediate. Don't be a victim! Be part of the solution, not part of the problem!

I agree. Like I said earlier, I firmly believe that we reap what we sow in this world.

I've found that sometimes there comes a point in our lives when we have to tolerate something that we don't like. Perhaps a family member or a work position, something that we can't easily discard or change. However I've learned through an excrutiatingly hard process that we can flow with the wind to make it easier on ourselves rather than go against the grain.

I love your coffee and wisdom posts.

I wondered if you might be able to do something constructive with this one.
This is my coffee cup this morning. One of my favourites.
Wisdom and rebutles from the words of Shakespeare.

Lol Shakespearean insults. I'll ponder on it for tomorrow. Thanks for the submission, noone has submitted a mug before!

I too am a firm believer of the law of attraction. There's nothing more satisfying than seeing your thoughts manifest! Namaste

I'm responsible for me, 100+%. That is simply what I have come to remember that I know.

Its much more rewarding to be dependant then depend in someone else.

I am a firm believer of Law of attraction also. We create our world . Our thoughts create our world. I am convinced we have 100% control of how we experience this world
