How I found Steemit

First of all, Thank you @belenguerra for welcoming me into the Steemit Nursery community and running this contest.

I joined Steemit about a week ago so it's fair to say I'm still a baby. I had never heard of blockchain before and had absolutely no prior experience with cryptocurrencies. I basically knew bitcoin existed but nothing more.

Last week during an overdue phonecall with my forever bestie @elenahornfilm she mentioned she started blogging again. I didn't even know she had ever had a blog but it is mainly due to me running around like a headless chicken most of the time (and if I don't see it it doesn't exist).
She told me about her experience she had blogged for the past 3 years, blogging about her experiences as a documentary filmer, travel experience, and much more, and suggested I should give it a try. She and her boyfriend Ale agreed that I would be perfect for this platform since I can write about my life as a dancer in London and also have an opinion on most things out there and this would provide me with the opportunity to get the word out!

I actually like writing a lot and once had a (failed) attempt as a vlogger, so the concept of sharing my life and opinions wasn't new to me.

She bullied me into signing up quickly (because she knows as soon as I am back in headless chicken mode it will never happen) and I did on the same day!

I am still figuring out how everything works and still don't know much about crypto but so far I really enjoy my time here and am planning to keep at it!
I also enjoy reading about other people's lives and explore all the communities on here. I can't wait to look back at this in one year's time!
