SEA GAMES 2017 : RISE TOGETHER
Never in my wildest dream I would have imagined that tigers could fly. It did.
It isn't an everyday occurrence to have an international games in our own backyard. Commonwealth Games in 1998 was one experience that I would never forget. So, when the opportunity came, I knew I could not miss it for the world. Of course, there are some picturesque moment like this...
Ok, now back to the story but one more picture for MALAYSIA
PEOPLE MOUNTAIN PEOPLE SEA
There is a saying in chinese that sounds like, 'people mountain people sea' it means that the entire place is just a spread of humans just like the crabs in Christmas islanLd, the flamingos in the lakes, the Bangladeshis in KLCC, well you get the point. It is a sea of human!
QUEUE
We started queing up for about anything. It was a queue to enter the vicinity of the stadium, then there was this 20 minutes queue to enter the loo, then there is this 5 minutes queue to buy 100 plus and get the limited edition cup, then there is queue for the food truck, then there is queue for the selfie spots, queue to enter the stadium and finally the queue to get home.
ROCK CONCERT
The atmosphere was electrifying. It felt like a rock concert. Instead of bringing lighters that could potentially be a tool for arson attacks, everyone turned on their torchlight app on their smartphones. They did it to the tune of 'Gemuruh Malaysia' which is the song to rally our athletics to glory.
Who doesn't know Aznil Nawawi. He was the host for the night and he was fabulous. What makes him more fabulous is despite his age, he is running around like a 20 year old.
!
Of course, not to mention that he never age. He looks the same like he was 20 years ago. Hooray for the advancement of aesthetic beauty in Malaysia!
THE MOMENT OF PRIDE
The band at the wake of the ceremony played our national anthem. The stadium was electrifying. Everyone was so well behaved, not to mention that they queue up for everything. Many spend their hard earned money to don the Malaysian t-shirt for the games.
In short, I am beeming with pride to be a Malaysian. Happy Merdeka month people.

haha ... i so wanted to go ! but its not actually kids friendly so watch the opening from home.
Actually ventilation is quite good. Its airy and not too packed. Kids friendly too...shld snap a few pics of kids having fun as proof...😂

A memorable event. I went for the opening and closing ceremony for Commonwealth Games...such a wonderful experience.
One of the more memorable event of the 1998 commonwealth games was the condom giveaways. We used it as water balloon. Doesn't burst easily.
