Vasco da Gama, ready to leave...

This momument for the famous word traveller Vasco da Gama in Lisbon by the river Teijo is so monumental and impressive, it is quite difficult to get it good on a photo. At about 40 m tall and in the shape of a discovery boat ready to leave for the Atlantic Ocean, the building has a museum about him inside and you can go all the way to the top to look over the river and the city of Lisbon. A must see...
