7-Day Wayback Music Challenge Day 6: Stay-Rihanna, Don't matter-Akon, Me Love-Sean Kingston

Day 6 and you guys are still here being supportive of me, I'm grateful. Let me say again incase you're just joining us that this challenge was initiated by @dimitrisp, supported by @greek-trail and @ruth-girl. It's just to take us way back to our college years to know the songs that used to be on our playlist and of course, this could in a way reveal one's age range, lol. Who else thought about that?? @samminator, did you?? Lol, maybe not.

I think I should apologize for the lateness of this post, it is due to the low network availability in my new residence. I also hope it gets fixed soon enough. My apologies please... So, today will feature more than a single song as well just to satisfy myself and of course clear my conscience, so I won't feel guilty for not listing a song or the other...

Today's Number One:

Rihanna's stay ft. Mikky Ekko

This song catch my intention when it was played on my DStv decoder on the year of it's release. I've always loved Rihanna and her songs and can say it's only a few ones of her songs I don't really like. Not like I hate them, just don't really like them as I would have loved a normal Rihanna song. I love her voice and of course, her looks but not her personality.. That's a no for me..

The songs makes me think about a flawless relationship in which there wouldn't be fights, quarrels, and a party having to leave the other - that's not feasible anyway but it's what I think about when listening to this song. The song is a good one for me as I still listen to it till date though it was released in 2013, it has managed to survive the heavy screening I do to songs when they fade away...

If I must confess, I did some pause and play actions to write this much, I presume that's not a breach of the rules... lol

Today's Number Two

Akon - Don't matter

Did I say I wasn't gonn' bring Akon up again??? Jezzz!! I lied because this is another of Akon's songs. One of my bests from him. I still don't know how I managed to forget this song. How did it go into oblivion?? I couldn't give myself an answer but then, I thought it's probably because new songs came continuously erasing a little part of the song till I finally forgot it eventually.

I can't really remember where a got this song from. It's possible from a friend, my sister or possibly the loud speaker of a media house around my home as at then.

Well, it so happened that nothing used to come to mind when listening to this song. I just always listened to it because I love the song and its singer. The song is cool, I hope you find it appealing because I really do.. This song is one of the few songs I chose to re-download after this challenge because after all these years, it still sounds good to me.

Well, till date I still ask myself what happened to such a talent?? Where did he go?? After dropping a song like this, where did he go?? Definitely, after a song like this, he would have won hearts of people to himself and they'd be waiting for his next single but suddenly we didn't hear from him again..

I miss him, I miss his voice, his looks, his talent, I miss everything about him. I got to know about this through my sister. Someone must be wondering how much of a music lover my sister is but I can tell you she really loves music but not as much as I do..lol. She's a good singer like myself and then, when listening to this song, we'd sing it together.

This song might have made much sense to her then but definitely not to me cause it was still my early years in school. How much did I know? Only a few things right...?? Lol. I was just more of a good boy than I am now.. That's all

Now, that's the end of today's challenge. Watch out for tomorrow's episode, I hope I can make it special enough..

        @therealwolf 's created platform smartsteem scammed my post this morning (mothersday) that was supposed to be for an Abused Childrens Charity. Dude literally stole from abused children that don't have mothers ... on mothersday.
