WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW

This post will give you tons of details about how things work but the quick tips are:

• We are doing a gradual roll out... only about a dozen top users have access (tier5+)
• Bid market is no cost to make bids
• You'll never spend more than you bid
• We only make money if we find you a card LOWER than your bid... and even then you keep 90% of the savings.
• We use PEAKCREDIT so you have to trust us with that ammount you deposit
• We run all bids and buys and sell through blockchain... in addition all transfers in and out of peakcredit are on blockchain
• Obviously the tools for buy history, bid history are great to make sure everything is on the up and up

A WORD TO THE SELLERS

This isn't just a great thing for the buyers using bids... now you know will know what people are actually willing to buy these cards for. If you list a card for the amount of a bid it will automatically sell right that instant and you have instant steem/sbd.

Right by the LISTING price you'll now see the "HIGH BID" price.
(Acually i think we should switch so the price is underneath... what do you think?)

Pretty self explanatory ... you put a generic bid based on the entire rarity/edition/type

THE FINANCIAL DETAILS

USD BIDS

Bids are USD and fulfilled with PeakCredits (steem/sbd)

COSTS

• There's no fee to use bid markets
• In fact we may often find cards for less than your bids.
• In case of price mismatch you get 90% of the savings (Savings = Bid Price - Sale Price).

DEPOSITS

You can easily deposit credit into PeakCredit in two ways:

• Send to @peakcredit ... easy as that it will add credit to the account that sent
• If depositing into another account use this in the memo to @peakcredit -> "deposit:@username"
• The above syntax can use on binance,bittrex and i think blocktrades etc.

This UI makes it very easy and if you're using keychain then it's crazy easy.

WITHDRAWALS

This feature hasn't been programmed yet but won't be too hard to do and will be done with verifiable blockchain transactions. You'll send a request with a .001 transaction and we know you have permission for that account and the withdraw amount + .001 will be sent back.

MANAGE BIDS

You will see a sortable list of all your bids you've made in your profile

GRADUAL ROLL OUT

• For about 1 week or so we're going to consider bid markets in BETA.
• We will invite all TIER 5+ users to join in the fun.
• Then we'll gradually invite the rest of the PeakMonsters users.

TESTING + COMING SOON

• We had some testers making sure the basics worked great.
• Now we're gonna observe with a controlled amount of users.
• Gradual roll-out gives us some time to get feedback and make any changes needed.
• There's still plenty of UI changes we can do to make it prettier and easier to use.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

You put in bids, we keep track of all the bids and we buy the card for the winning bid with "PeakCredit"

More technically speaking:

1. You submit a bid.
2. It creates a json transaction onto the blockchain
3. Record of these bids will be on your profile as well in a new section called "bids"
4. When a user lists new cards and the card price is low enough to trigger a bid...
   4b. we buy it and in the same transaction send it to the user with the winning bid.
5. We pay for the card with money from PeakCredit account (again transactions are on the blockchain)
   5b. We then lower your credit by the amount of the transaction
6. You can also cancel the transaction (which is also a json on the blockchain)

PLEASE NOTE:

• You must have adequate credit on PeakMonsters
• If you don't have sufficient credit we obviously don't buy the card and cancel the bid from there on out.
• There will be limits to the amount bids you can do on the market
• However to start with those using the beta market will not have limits for this first week.
• Again the limit is they can't buy more than they have PeakCredits for.
