Ludwig Johann Passini (1832–1903) was an Austrian narrative genre painter and printmaker. Passini was taught art first by his father, and later studied at the Vienna Academy of Art under the painters Joseph von Führich Leopold Kupelwieser. 

Karol (Karl) D. Witkowski (16 August 1860, Yazlovets, now Buchach Raion - 17 May 1910) was a Polish-American portraitist and genre painter, better known in the USA as Karl Witkowski. He painted scenes of contemporary daily life in America. 

Arthur John Elsley (20 November 1860 – 19 February 1952)[1] was an English painter of the late Victorian and Edwardian periods, famous for his idyllic genre scenes of playful children and their pets. He achieved great popularity during his life and much of his work appeared in calendars, magazines and books. 

Marianne Stokes (1855–1927), born Marianne Preindlsberger, was an Austrian painter. She settled in England after her marriage to Adrian Scott Stokes (1854–1935), the landscape painter, whom she had met in Pont-Aven. Stokes was considered one of the leading artists in Victorian England.
