미혹의 영을 분별하고 그 정체를 알아채는 것은 무척이나 어려운 일입니다.
It is really hard to distinguish and recognize spirits of falsehood.

저도 성령께서 훈련시킬 때, 미혹의 영이 있는 사람을 지목하여 실체를 알려주신 적도 있었지만, 당시는 스스로 미혹의 영을 어떻게 분별할지 생각이 깊었었습니다.
The Holy Spirit pinpointed out people with those demons within them when I was being trained; I had no idea how to tell them apart in the beginning, and that made me to question myself how to do it.

그러나 충주에서 사역을 한지 3년이 가까워지므로, 미혹의 영을 분별하는 내공이 점점 쌓이고 있죠.
But now I'm a bit more knowledgeable after 3 years of having CSA in Choong Joo.

물론 적지 않은 시행착오를 겪고 나서이지만요.
And of course, that was after I have had so many trial-and-error experience.

그래서 기회가 되면 미혹의 영의 공격에 대한 칼럼을 써서 정보를 공유하고 있습니다.
So I try to write and upload columns about these spirits of falsehood whenever I have a chance and share the info with everyone.

그러나 정작 미혹의 영이 몸 안 깊숙한 곳에 자리 잡은 사람들은 자신들에게 미혹의 영이 있다는 것을 인정하기 어렵습니다.
But it is not easy for people that actually have spirits of falsehood within them, deep inside in fact, to admit the demons' existence inside.

성령이 계시다고 철썩 같이 믿고 있는데, 그 영이 미혹의 영이라고 인정하기 쉽겠습니까?
How can they admit and accept that there are demons inside them, especially when they believe the Holy Spirit is with them 100%?

기도훈련을 마치고 영성학교 공동체에서 2년여 이상 있는 졸업생을 찬찬히 살펴본 결과입니다.
But this is the norm I've witnessed after watching the trainees for 2 years.

그래서 이참에 미혹의 영이 있는 사람들을 분별하는 기준에 대해 생각해보고 싶습니다.
So I would like to discuss about what to look for, when you distinguish people with demons within.

1. 성령의 열매가 없는 사람
2. People without fruit of the Spirit

성령의 열매가 없는 사람들은 미혹의 영이 몸에 자리 잡고 있다고 보면 틀림없을 겁니다.
You could be sure that there are spirits of falsehood within people if they don't show any fruit of the Spirit.

성령의 열매는 여러 가지를 들 수 있는데, 거룩한 성품의 변화, 가족의 구원 특히 부모나 자녀의 직계가족, 하는 일의 형통, 고질병이나 정신질환의 치유, 마지막으로 귀신을 쫓아내고 고질병을 고치는 성령의 능력으로 영혼을 구원하는 사역의 도구로 사용되고 있어야 합니다.
There are several fruit; changes in personal traits happen; people around them get healed or have their problems resolved; lastly, they are used as God's tools to rescue souls and carry out God's will.

이런 사람들은 미혹의 영이 몸에 도사리고 있다고 보면 되지요.
People without these signs may have several spirits inside them.

그러나 하나님의 은혜도 있고 기도응답도 더러 있었으며, 가족들이 기도훈련에 동참하기도 하였고, 예언이나 질병을 치유하는 은사가 있다는 자의적인 판단으로 자신이 성령의 열매가 있다고 판단하는 이들이 적지 않습니다.
But there are people who are confident that they have the Holy Spirit within them; they claim they've received God's grace; they received answers to their prayers; their family member participate in prayer; and they claim they have the abilities given to them by the Holy Spirit; unfortunately, they are confident of their own interpretation of God's gifts.

제가 성령이 동행하는 기준으로 열매를 맺히는 위의 기준도 정확하게 판단하여야지, 자의적이거나 아전인수식으로 판단한다면 미혹의 영에 속아 넘어가기 일수이죠.
It is easy to fall for demons' lies, if you "grade" your faith at your own interpretations and standards; the standard has to be objective and strict.

이들이 잘못 판단하는 기준은 여러 가지예요.
There are many wrong factors and standards they grade themselves on.

가장 먼저 기도할 때 기쁨과 평안함이 있다는 것을 신뢰합니다.
First of all, they firmly believe that they are have peace and joy when they pray.

그러나 이런 감정은 귀신들이 자주 넣어주는 공격입니다.
But these feelings are what demons like to put inside people.

또한 가족이 교회에 나오거나 기도훈련에 동참한 것으로 판단하기 쉽습니다.
And it is easy to believe that your faith affected the family members to participate in church activities.

그러나 교회 예배에 앉아있거나 기도훈련을 시도했다는 행위만으로 판단할 수 없어요.
But you can't tell them apart just because they go to church regularly or pray long hours each day.

그들에게 성령의 열매가 있어야합니다.
They must have fruit of the Spirit.

특히 자녀들의 변화가 없거나 형식적으로 기도하는 흉내만 내고 있다면 하나님께서 간섭하지 않는 증거이지요.
Especially if your children have not changed in their characters and are only physically participating, that means God is not intervening at all.

또한 방언이나 예언, 혹은 귀신을 쫓아낼 때 드러나는 현상이나 기도할 때 병의 차도가 있다는 말을 듣고 성급하게 성령의 은사가 있다고 판단하는 경우가 허다합니다.
People also like to have their health and/or abilities as the barometer of faith; they believe the prophecies, tongues, symptoms of demons 'leaving,' and restoration of health all come from the Holy Spirit.

귀신이 넣어주는 방언이나 자의적인 방언은 성령과 상관이 없으며, 영음으로 들리는 예언도 영혼을 구원하는 주제의 말씀이 아니라면 죄다 귀신이 속이는 경우가 허다할 겁니다.
But they should know that speaking in tongues and prophecies can be given to them by demons; and they often are from demons, especially if the prophecies that you get does not speak about how to rescue souls and lives of people.

또한 귀신이 드러나서 쫓겨나가는 것처럼 속이는 시도에 넘어가기 일수이기 때문에, 귀신들도 병을 치유하는 능력이 있다는 것을 간과하지 마시기 바랍니다.
And demons can reveal themselves and pretend to leave the bodies of people they possess; please don't forget that they, too, have spiritual power to work miracles.

귀신들이 질병을 일으킨다면 일시적으로 공격을 중지하여 나아진 것처럼 하는 증상을 얼마든지 할 수가 있다는 것을 명심하세요.
Please remember that demons can stop their attacks and make it look like the illnesses are digressing, since they know how to cause them.

미혹의 영은 하나님보다 더욱 하나님인 것처럼 속이기 때문입니다.
It is because these spirits of falsehood could deceive you and look more like God than God himself.

1. 자기부인을 하지 않는 사람
2. People who don't deny themselves

자기부인이란 자기를 부인한다는 뜻으로, 자신의 생각이나 계획, 의도, 목적을 내려놓고, 오직 하나님의 뜻에 순종하는 삶의 태도를 말합니다.
"Denying oneself" means what it sounds like; you basically need to give up all your thoughts, plans, intentions, and goals; instead of following what You think is best for you, you must follow what God wants you to do.

그러나 총론적으로 자신도 그렇게 살아가고 있다는 이들이 적지 않습니다.
Of course, there are people who believe they are doing that.

자기부인을 잘 하고 있는 지는 분별의 은사가 있는 사람이 오랫동안 날카롭게 분별해야 미혹의 영의 실체를 알아 챌 수가 있죠.
And it is not easy to tell whether they really are doing so or not, unless you have the gift of discernment and the patience to observe those people for a long while.

자기부인을 하지 않는 사람의 특징을 살펴보도록 하겠습니다.
Let's talk about characteristics of people who do not deny themselves.

자기부인이 되지 않는 사람은 영적 지도자가 조언이나 코칭을 할 때 잘 받아들이려 하지 않고, 마음이 거스르며, 자기 고집을 꺾지 않는 경향이 있습니다.
They tend to not listen to what their spiritual leaders advise, they have opposing thoughts against them, and they are usually stubborn and do not change their thoughts or ways.

그래서 겉으로는 웃으면서 겸손한 척 하지만, 시간이 지나도 자신의 행동을 바꾸려 하지 않습니다.
On the outside, they smile and act humble but do not change their actions afterwards.

말하자면 겸손한척 위장하지만 속으로는 영적 교만으로 가득 차 있는 셈이예요.
In other words, they pretend to be humble and modest but they are very proud.

예전에 성령께서 미혹의 영이 있는 사람의 특징이 고집이 세고, 자기중심적이며, 교만하고 감정의 기복이 심하다고 말씀하셨습니다.
The Holy Spirit once told me that people controlled by spirits of falsehood are stubborn, self-centered, proud, and have big mood swings.

이 중에서 자기중심적이며 고집이 세다는 것은, 영적 지도자의 말에 순종하지 않고 자신이 잘 하고 있다고 철썩 같이 믿고 있는 사람들을 말합니다.
And when he said self-centered and stubborn, he is talking about people who do not follow what the spiritual leaders tell them to do and believe they are doing well without a doubt.

그러나 이들은 겉으로는 자신의 의중을 숨기고 있으니 오랫동안 면밀하게 관찰하지 않으면 이들의 실체를 아는 것이 어렵습니다.
They do not show their stubbornness; they usually hide their intentions, so it'd be hard to tell unless you observe them for quite a while.

특히 영적 지도자가 자신의 부족한 면을 지적하거나 잘못을 들추어낼 때, 마음이 거스르게 듣거나 불편한 기색을 감추지 않는 사람들이 미혹의 영이 잠복해있다고 보면 틀림없습니다.
You'd be able to say spirits of falsehood are inside people if they are uncomfortable listening to whatever shortcomings the spiritual leaders point out.

그들은 자신이 기도로 열심히 하고 나름대로 성령이 함께 하시고 있다고 믿고 있으며, 다른 사람이 자신에 대해 잘 모른다고 생각하여 받아들이지 않거나 거스르게 생각하는 것입니다.
They firmly believe they are people of prayer; they believe the Holy Spirit is with them; they don't take any negative comments from other because they believe people don't understand or know them.

물론 영적 지도자도 사람이므로 잘못 판단할 수 있어요.
Of course, spiritual leaders are humans, too, and they can be wrong time to time.

그러나 성령의 열매가 확연히 드러나며 성령과 동행하는 증거가 있는 영적 지도자의 조언이나 코칭이라면, 설령 잘못된 판단이라도 권위를 인정하는 게 겸손한 제자의 태도일 겁니다.
But if those leaders have fruit of the Spirit as well as signs of the Holy Spirit, it would be wise to acknowledge their authority and listen, even if their judgment is not right.

그렇지만 겉으로는 웃으면서 겸손히 듣는 척하여도, 속으로는 행동을 고치지 않는 이들이 적지 않습니다.
But there are tons of people who pretend to listen but do not change their ways.

성령께서는 교만은 귀신의 기름이라고 말씀하셨습니다.
The Holy Spirit said pride is the anointing oil of Satan.

그러므로 메마른 성품을 드러내며 화를 잘 내는 이들도 교만하지만, 겉으로는 겸손한 척하지만 자신의 고집을 꺾으려 하지 않는 이들도 겸손으로 포장한 교만을 감추고 있는 셈이에요.
Therefore, people who pretend to be humble but are stubborn and do whatever they please behind people's back are as proud as much as people who blatantly show their negativity and anger.

일반적으로 자기부인을 하지 않는 사람은 자기의 의를 내세우고, 자기 자랑에 여념이 없으며, 자기연민, 자부심, 자긍심, 자기의 뜻을 굽히지 않고 고집이 센 사람들입니다.
People who don't deny themselves often are opinionated, like to brag about their dees, and are full of self-pity, self-esteem, and pride; they are stubborn and do not back down when they have certainty of what they support and believe.

이런 이들이 세상에서 잘나가는 사람이며, 학식이 많고 재산이 많으며, 교회에서 높은 직분과 신앙의 연륜이 오래되고, 희생적인 신앙행위를 잘 하고 있는 사람이라면 인격적인 교만을 비롯해서 영적인 교만이 가득 찬 사람일 겁니다.
And these people often are the leaders of the world, 'the ones that have everything going for them.' If they are full of knowledge and wealth, have authority in church and have been a long time Christian, and participate in church activities maybe a little too much, they are probably full of pride in their personalities as well as spiritualities.

그러나 교만한 사람은 배우자나 가족, 친지의 말을 잘 듣지 않으며, 영적 지도자의 지도조차 무시하는 이들이기 때문에, 결국은 무리를 떠나 마이웨이를 하게 되는 경우가 허다할 거예요.
They don't listen to their spouses or anyone near them; they even ignore what spiritual leaders tell them; they usually end up leaving the group or just live in their own way.

그러므로 여러 번 권고를 해도 듣지 않으면, 미혹의 영의 소리를 듣는 사람으로 여겨 거리를 두거나 떠나도록 해야 할 겁니다.
So if people don't listen to your advice, even if you tell them many times for obvious reasons, slowly back away from them; they are already controlled by spirits of falsehood.
