Wednesday – I spy with my little eye – Mini contest (THE END…)

Hello, SteemKids and Parents!

After 100 weeks of intense thinking, I have decided to close this chapter of "I spy with my little eye." As the English man would say, “All good things come to an end sooner or later.”

It was a journey in which many of you were pushed to your limits, myself included. Not only have we learned about the English language, but we all had a couple of frustrated and also good fun moments.

I still cannot understand why “womb” is pronounced “woom” and the same for "tomb,” which is pronounced “toom,” but we don’t pronounce “bomb” as in “boom.”

Then there is “eggplant.” Have you seen the egg in eggplant? I haven’t.

With more than 800,000 words spoken across the world, English might be weird at times, but it stays… beautiful!

After all, is it not the language that brought us together?

Before I say goodbye, let’s have a look at last week’s clues.

1. It is a 12-letter word starting with “B”
2. It is an essential item
3. It represents a lot of things like, royalty, protection, femininity
4. It can also bring similar things together

And the word is a “BUMBERSHOOTS!”

Bumbershoot is another word for umbrella, which is for sure essential and represents a lot of things like royalty, protection, and femininity. In the world of business, it brings similar things together.
