A Bit of Bogart
Tried to push the caricature on this one a bit further than I have done previously. It was not entirely successful. I can see a little of Humphrey in there, just not enough to make for a completely successful caricature. Though to be fair, I think if I hadn't been pushing the edges, I still don't think the likeness would be there.
So I learn and move on to the next.
We've got another week of warm weather ahead (mid to high thirties (celsius) is forecast), not good sketching weather as I sketch with the paper on my lap and nothing to stop the sweat. :|
I need a desk! :)

I like this! Caricature is hard, decidint what to exaggerate and how to do it is really not an easy thing, but I think you did a very good job! :)

I think maybe the lips are not quite as iconic as Bogart's ? But the eyes are done well :D
Yeh i think that is a big part of what went wrong. Also think i could have done something with the hat to really push it further.
