Weapons of Mass Distraction - Why The System Constantly Vows For Your Attention

There are some rather essential mechanisms for the continued functioning of the matrix that I find are too little talked about or explored. These facets come in many forms and colors, aim to cater to different levels of understanding and maturity and usually there is always something for anyone out there to get caught up in.

The spiritually minded tend to get sucked into groups, gurus or theoretical knowledge that may not be provable practically - provable as in to the individualby virtue of experiment and first-hand experience.

The gossip'y find a world of dirty laundry about people they have never met.

The politically inclined get served endless narratives within an invisible box of illusionary choice, believing that anything fundamental would change if just the "right" people were elected into the office while nothing major had changed for the better part of their lives.

Children get presented with plastic role models, propped up by the gang in order to further shady agendas of reshaping the human mind.

And so on.

There are countless camps, and no matter what we do or what we believe in, I think it's quite natural to fall for one or more of these traps along the way on the path to maturity.

But then, isn't it interesting how all these differently inclined groups and interests I named as examples tend to suck people in in the same way? Why is there so much attention and spotlight given to these things?

Why does the system constantly vow for our attention with all its tentacles?

I can only guess here, as nothing can really be said for certain anymore. Not that there isn't "the truth" but it's just so hard to discern among the multitude of narratives and well-founded cases. To me it's all just probabilities and intuition guiding the way to a view ultimately founded on "personal" experience, first-hand insight into the nature of what is, not somebody else's concept.

And out of these studies and experiments came a certain way of answering why the system constantly tries to draw us in with all our attention.

I really think and feel the system's aim is to keep us focussing on things that keep us busy and occupied, first and foremost. Occupied is an interesting terms in this context because it implies there is no room left for something else to come in - the space is literally "taken".

But why would that be so important from the viewpoint of an empire, the standpoint of a control structure?

Because it gives these (public) thoughts and concepts power. It charges these narratives and viewpoints, these topics and convictions, these lifestyles and faiths of perceived importance with human energy in some odd way, ultimately portraying to other people that it must be important because... well, because other people hold it to be important. And until we really question this herd mentality mode in a fundamental and far-reaching manner I think any new thought template - as far-out and insane as it may be - can be successfully inserted into the public mind and have someone out there...who utterly believes it to be important and essential enough to be in the spotlight or become the major focus of one's life.

I think ultimately, these mass chargings of artificial tought patterns are meant to distract us from the simple fact that any of the extortions going on, any of the blunders and any of the coercions so many people are witnessing and ciriticizing these days , can simply continue because we gave them unwitting permission to continue. We allowed them.

It's like the man who merely goes to vote because he can't stand his neighbors voting for the other candidate that he hates more. He'd rather not vote, because he holds both candidates to be criminals, but since it's "pointless to resist the voting system" and he would rather choose the "lesser of two evils" he gives the full machine permission by voting.

It's like that.

We look at what the others are doing and even if we have strong convictions we tend to put them on the backburner and act like most people do.

Too bad that in this way, the matrix got all of opur permission to basically do its thing unabated and unchallenged.

But then, more and more people write, speak, sing and practice ideas like the one written here...
