Trees and a joke for Tuesday!

Trees give us clean air, and laughter keeps us young at heart!

I am changing tack a little bit today as we have all been way too serious lately and it is time for a bit of lightheartedness.

But first a bit of seriousness here for #treetuesday hosted by a friend @old-guy-photos

The second part of this post might just get a giggle out of some of the readers here.
Let's have a look!

Looks like an ordinary tree in the sports grounds of this local public park.

But don't be fooled as this tree lends her shade to many Egyptian geese!

All fast asleep at midday after lunch on the greens!

And to finish off the tree section with this clump of beauties above!

Now for the joke and hopefully a bit of laughter! An animal parody!

Donald the goose (not Trump) and Stemmy the crow are friends. Here Donald said to Stemmy "Go and ask her yourself, why must I do your dirty work"?

So Stemmy goes and he humbly bows a greeting to Tronella, as she has a very rich family!

Stemmy said, my darling I want to start a new tribe with you, we can join our tokens and become the richest couple here in the park"!
But Tronella vehemently shook her head and said "I think not lover boy, have you seen all of the witnesses in the shade of that tree above watching us"

As she turned to walk away she snarled "They have a million passionate voters behind them, that I want on my side and we can do this the decent way so that everybody is happy"!!

Finally, in life nothing can last forever, so make sure that you enjoy every day and don't forget to be kind to others!

Humor is a strange thing as throughout my life it has always helped me to get out of tight situations. Now believe me when I say that I know extreme pain and yet I have laughed my way through it. To me it's the only way to cope with the stresses in life and there are so many. As a child I was severely beaten most days and learned how to ignore the pain. Later in life it stood me in good stead, as I could handle any disappointments with a Lassez Fair attitude.

And so my fellow steemians on we go in this adventure of ours here on steemit and elsewhere. We all hope that our tomorrows will get better and together we make the road easier for each other. This is the way that it should be.
United we stand and divided we fall (song lyrics) but a solid truth.
I wish only the very best for all of us!
