Based on report of National Institutes of Health, marijuana have been used for treatments of ailments by people but Food and Drug Administration have not approved marijuana to be safe or effective in the treatments of any ailment but in June 2018 cannabidiol (a substance found in marijuana) received approval to cure some types of epilepsy.

Based on research over the years, marijuana could be used to treat some conditions like extreme pain, reduction in the spreading of cancer, social anxiety, epilepsy among others but no matter how much disease it could cure, the disadvantages out weighs the advantages. Marijuana can be easily abused and can cause mental disorder, respiratory disease among others.

No matter how much of things you read online that marijuana can cure (verified or not verified), it is too dangerous to be approved for public use because of the obvious.
