SPRING MAY BE HERE - NIGHTCRAWLERS DATE NIGHT!!!
Next task: Go fishing!
While taking care of some late-night chores after a small downpour, we noticed that the nightcrawlers were out. Here and there across our property these large worms had come to the surface. Some of them were even mating! Being somewhat opportunistic, we found a container and began collecting them.
One of my favorite childhood memories is collecting hundreds of nightcrawlers during the camping season back in Wisconsin. At one of our favorite lakes to camp at, there was a large field where nightcrawers could often be found after dark, especially after a rain. The surface seems to be where they come to find a date, and when it's wet up there, they don't have to worry about drying out. At bait shops getting this many nightcrawlers can cost a pretty penny, so we always like to find our own when possible.
This is our first spring on our land, so apparently we've got some good ground for finding nightcrawlers! That'll make fishing a lot more productive and cost effective, so we are excited about this find! Monster Truck and Pinkie-Pepper were my helpers on this adventure, and here's a couple more photos of some of our find. Soon I hope to be able to show off some fish photos!

Definitely an extra large fish for you for each one of those worms! Totally your land is also giving you fish not only those veggies. At last I have seen you here on steemit.
