HOMESTEAD SWEET HOMESTEAD - BUILDING AN INVENTORY
Inspiration is an amazing thing!
Maybe it's the new year, maybe it's the new opportunity, but either way, I'm excited and hard at work. I've already learned how to make salami this year (video coming out tomorrow) and I'm finally working on actually publishing my first book, although I've got about three pretty much ready to go. Moreover, with the opening of our online shop at the Homesteaders Co-op (big thanks to @sagescrub and @homesteaderscoop for that one) I've finally got an outlet for all of the stuff I've wanted to create and get going. Steemit provided the digital outlet and now the Homesteader's Co-op is providing the physical one!
We currently have fifteen items listed in our store, and my goal is to continue building up our supply of items. I've got more seeds undergoing germination tests, and I'm cranking out some other cool stuff like this decor. This is a wood-burned, homesteader's variation of the old "HOME SWEET HOME" cliche.
We wanted to keep it rustic yet refined, and primitive yet presentable. Unvarnished on weathered wood, roughly six inches long by three and a half inches wide. We are offering these for $4.99 USD each in our online store, and I just added it tonight! Check the store if you are interested. Here are some photos of it. Stay tuned for more!
Nice! The chicken and robin eggs really complete the look, lol.
I just looked at the site. Very impressed. Somebody has a nack for appeal from all angles. Yes it´s motivating too.
Quail eggs, not robins, but I did set up that shot pretty well! Thanks!
Writing your own book is impressive @papa-pepper! Years ago I made a plaque that reads "Home Sweet Homestead" so I like yours
Cool!
YAY! I cant wait to get the rainbow scrunchie I ordered. You know me, everything is rainbow :-).
I didn't know you were writing a book. Looking forward to it.
Should be there tomorrow!
