Yes, the Ghost Pepper, AKA Bhut Jolokia! Ever since I was first introduced to it, the Ghost Pepper has been my favorite pepper in the world, or at least my favorite pepper that I've met so far. Weighing in at over One Million Scoville Heat Units, this pepper is three times hotter than a habanero and a former "world's hottest pepper."
With highly productive plants, attractive fruit, and a searing flavor, it's a must have for any "hot head!"

These peppers look so beautiful. So many of them.
I have not heard of the ghost peppers.
I also grow some green peppers in my backyard and some hot tiny red peppers which I can only eat like half of it since they are so hot.
Are they called that because you die instantly when you eat a whole one?

Man, that's a lot of peppers! Good thing you enjoy them so much. I also think it's funny that you mentioned you're dehydrating them in the house because everyone is used to the scent. Heh.
Do other types of peppers, like Bells do as well down there, or is it mainly the ghosts?
I find ghosts to be more prolific than bells in general, but many types of peppers have been doing great for us so far.
I love the ghost pepper... Last time I used some I over used them.... Burned my mouth for hours 😁

Ouch- as a rule I always take out my contacts before cutting any peppers whether I'm using gloves or not.

That is a very good rule!
There's a burger joint here in town that has a burger they call the Hell Burger. Next time you're through Texas, stop through Decatur and I'll get you one. It's got seven types of ghost peppers on it. You'll love it. Makes jalapeños taste like Skittles.
