FINALLY, MANTISES!
I've been waiting to see these show up!
I love a good predatory bug, especially when they'll munch down on pests. This year we've mostly just noticed Assassin Bugs out in the garden, but yesterday we finally found two little Mantises. I tried so get some nice photos of them, but they were rather and speedy and mostly wanted to face the other way. After some effort, though, we got a few. Here they are. Enjoy!

I will never forget the time my older brother brought a preying mantis in for a science project and we fed it.
