COLOR CODED GARDENING
Let's make gardening easier!
Harvesting the garden is the task that really puts food on the table. However, harvesting can be rather difficult at time. In this video I share about how we are color-coding some of our crops to make things a bit easier to harvest.
If you grow green beans, then you know that the beans are the same color as the plant, which can make things more difficult than they need to be. For us, growing Red Swan Bush Beans, Mosaic Long Beans, and Chinese Red Noodle Beans allow us the blessing of being able to harvest beans that are a different color than the plant, making things easier to differentiate during harvest time. Enjoy!

Do the different coloured crops taste the same as the green ones?
It will make things a lot easier for little hands to help get the crop in
They do seem to taste about the same. Good question!
We had some purple podded peas at one stage, they tasted a cross between green beans and peas, and the pod was an enjoyable part as well, even when older.
We saved the seed as you are doing for 6-7 years until a hungry mouse decided his hunger had priority.
Hello my friend! :D
That's a great idea, I have a hard time differentiating between the plants, the crop we want, and weeds with my eyesight, that would be quite helpful for me. :D
I love how happy all your kids are to be helping pick them, its nice to see them all involved. :D
God bless you and your wonderful family. :D Have an awesome day my fabulous friend! :D
It really makes things easier!
If my family ate more veggies that would be something we'd think about for our future crops for sure. :D
