WELL THAT CAME OUT OF NOWHERE!!!!
After a year of sitting idle, we made progress on the root cellar again!!!!
I was tired... Been working a lot lately, up for the vast majority of my days and then up before dawn for hunting too. I needed a nap by mid-afternoon today, and then it happened. I got "the call." A cement truck was on its way since a neighbor had extra from pouring his foundation. Soon, I snapped out of bed and after a mad scramble, we got the floor of the root cellar/storm shelter poured!!! Hope to have a video out soon enough.

Root cellars are good, especially when they double as wine cellars. Impromptu concrete is super good! Look fwd to seeing the construction and how it all comes together.
