Thank you! Leonard Cohen also said something similar. Of course Hemingway came first. I like to believe that creating and/or caring for things is how we repair the broken...without loosing the light. Perhaps even taming and guiding it a little.
I know, Cohen said it too, I was confused because I've seen this quote so many times by different people...and a written a little bit differently - even my husband wrote a quote similar and we couldn't find the originator for years. Still not sure.
I like your insight on it as well. We need some kind of leak stopper....hmmmm. Chocolate :)
