Sometime Last Week
Just thinking about what to write, then it came to me why not just write anything about last week?
Last week was kinda fun was given a phone to flash actually it has been boot loop/stock(unable to come up keeps hanging at booting screen) at first i thought it was like others i have flashed.
So to start, turned on my system went to disable digital signed signature from recovery menu and installed android MTK drivers in other for my system to detect the android device caused it had to be turn off while flashing.
Then installed Sp flashtool (this is an application that allows you to flash files into a android device say system, boot logo, e.t.c)

After installation
Went online to download the Rom( Rom are like OS when it comes to system without it the phone is more or less a block, it has no function) this rom is divided into two
- stock rom- this is the os that came with the phone from the manufacturer bug free(thats it has no issue or such)
- custom rom- this is the os developed by programmers its comprises of other devices that has been made to run for your particular phone say a Samsung OS running in a Sony device crazy right? although it has some bug probably due to hardware related issues but still fun.
After that i connected the phone and ready to flash although i have done something like this some time back but still went online to confirm. You can never be to sure right?
Okay it flashed in alright but then there was a complication it could no longer detect the storage space for both the external and internal storage, the problem with this is that you cant install any app anymore unable to save file or take pictures you get the idea right?
Now here i was faced with a problem
So what i did next was the complete opposite of what the flashing procedure said, i went back and flashed the whole rom thinking to myself it would turnout okay, after all it was the same phone make and model, well i thought wrong.
Lesson here was you should always follow instruction from start to finish.
Flashing was done 100% but then the phone wont come up, there was no response of such, when you press the power button nothing comes up.
Here i was thinking to myself that i was given a phone to repair and i made it worse all exhausted from browsing online well after going online for sometime it was already dark and i was exhausted from thinking were it all went wrong (thinking i could have said no i wont be able to repair it, would have follow the instruction and asked online why that problem, even advice him to go to a phone engineer but now i went ahead and did it myself, thinking i was going to meet a phone engineer myself and pay an unreasonable amount of money now, at some point i just got tired and slept off.
Well next morning went online again browsed to see for any solutions, finally found something with a similar issue went back downloaded the files, about four different files, first three didn't work and finally the fourth worked and guess what after flashing just that single file, the phone boot up and everything was working perfectly, storage no more issue.
The phone was just like you bought it newly well i wont lie i was totally happy and seriously relieved although i did learned new things along the way.
And the phone i worked on was tecno y2

Source phone picture was gotten from google and sp flash tool from my computer system
Well over to you how was your last week?
