Post no bills is not always adhered to on the streets. I photographed this telephone pole yesterday with a graveyard of staples and thumbtacks conveniently at eye level.
Shot with my Canon 5D and Canon EF 70-200mm lens.
Below is a wider angle to give it some scale.

I often see people stapling papers to the poles when I’m downt. It can get quite competitive when someone staples something over what you have put up. Or even worse, when someone rips off the paper you put up.
Its a good idea for a reality show... Staple Wars

Excellent photo @otage. I like how you photograph these things. I walk past images like this everyday but I never think to get my phone out and take a photograph. Hopefully it will become more of a habit. You have an eye for noticing every day images and turning them into art.
Stop and smell the roses applies in the city... its just more pungent!
