'Stretching to the moon'
Sometimes when I look up at the sky
the moon feels so close that I could stretch up on my toes
and touch it.
An optical illusion
a trick of the mind?
Tonight the moon appears even closer to my grasp.
Did the elliptical curves
on which we place the keys to our dreams
finally take us closer to the moon
or did we pull it closer to us?

Some may say Japan, India and potentially Russia. But I think that the moon may have had an affect on helping those bitcoin plants grow a little taller.
Yes true, daytime moon reminds me that we are small and anything can happen...takes me outside of the normal thoughts.

Very nice artwork, and love the poem. Think we pull it to ourselves. Reminds me of the harvest moon that shows up now and then. Always amazing how it can look so huge for one or two hours, then return to 'normal'. Thanks for the marvelous imagery.
Always a pleasure to share my work. 'Going to the moon' is one of the key phrases with crypto rocketing at the moment, I thought it would be a nice subtle nod to that too.
I tend to be a bit slow, particularly in the realm of things going on on here, so missed that boat before it got to the dock. But it is a nice nod, now that I'm clued in. Thanks for the art and info, keep up the good works.

I gravitate to the Moon... I want to go and explore all of its lava tube caverns! :D
Moon tourism sounds fun... but just think of all the footprints that would be left.
As long as I get to leave some, I'm OK with that.
There are also a lot more moons out there to explore. :D Room for lots of footprints!
