UYO FASHION FESTIVAL: Photos and Report
Uyo, the capital of one of the oil producing States in Nigeria has been lacking behind in the fashion industry.
Few days ago, I was invited to UYO FASHION FESTIVAL by a friend. I felt discouraged to attend such an occasion knowing quite well how Uyo hais been lagging in the world of fashion.
On reaching the event, I was amazed on how filled up the hall was and the dignitaries there present. The event was graced with personnel's from the public and private sector which includes politicians, business men, models students, etc.
On interviewing the man behind the occasion, he said "I have a dream of empowering and equipping men in the fashion world in Uyo and decentralizing fashion industry from Lagos (The commercial city of Nigeria).
His words inspired me.
Today am looking for a team to set up a quest to decentralize the music industry in Nigeria.
