How to use hackmd.io to make posts
This tutorial is made necessary by the post here calling on contributors for the community style magazine from the Nigerian blog writers.
Making use of the website https://hackmd.io is as easy as ABC, just log into the site and click New guest note to start making a post. The only problem is if you are not signed in, posts made would be valid but you would have no record of it for future reference. So why stress yourself when signing in is so easy? Click the Sign in button.
Select the account you would like to log in with as shown below.
Viola! You are in. Click new note to start.
You can now type on the left side while watching the preview on the right. Pretty neat. Huh?
Toggle between views by clicking the eye icon or the double panel icon shown below
Select markdown to use above or just type as you would on steemit. The URL at this moment is a bit lengthier than it would be once you click the Publish button. Images could be uploaded here too. Sweet! Click publish after you are done. You can still edit your post after publishing; just remember to always click on publish button any time you edit the post. The URL would not change once it is first published. The subsequent click of publish button merely updates the new information you added. Wow!
Edit by clicking that pencil icon as shown below
Hit that publish button and send us the URL as shown below. Thank you very much.
