My Actifit Report: December 2 2019
Madeira, day #6.
Today we tried to get some sunburn near the pool. No luck. Bad cool wind, lots of clouds. Finally we gave up, and went to Funchal, to search for some wine tasting wineries. Here our luck was much better. The walking capabilities today are a bit limmited, we feel some pain in the legs from yesterday's hiking.
I keep thinking about what we saw yesterday in the mountains.
Some young females were wearing just shorts, and small jackets. The temp on the mountain peak was probably +6C at best (as it was 7C in the parking lot 350m lower, see pic above). However the feel in a strong wind and a cloouds with 99.5% humidity was close to 2C or smth. I cant imagine one can go hiking in such conditions just wearing shorts.... brrrrr.
Wine tasting went great, our bags are now packed, their weight limits are double checked, and we have to catch our charter flight to Vilnius at 11 AM tomorrow.
