POSITIVITY.

   Hey friends, today’s motivational write-up is centered on positivity. What are your thoughts in tough times? How did you feel whenever things are not working out as planned? How far did you think you can go even in the midst of shackles? How well did you think you can do whenever you want to tackle something that has never been achieved? Your answers to these questions can tell how great you will become. Your thought about your dream is the final say to how far you are going to travel in the journey to your goal. Though, the journey to success is not an easy one, nevertheless, your thought in tough times matters a lot. Robert H. Shutter said and I quote, “the only place your dreams become impossible is in your own thinking.” Hence, if your thoughts during tough times are pick pointing your weak points and the reasons you can’t achieve your goal instead of focusing on the treasures embedded in your goal. That is an indicator of failure. Though the result of humans’ thought can either be good or bad, but mind you, bad thought plus action will never ever give good result, only a positive thought plus action can give the result we desire for. Therefore, what did you see positivity as? To me, I see positivity as “the choice to neglect unfavourable conditions for favourable conditions, to promote, enhance and awaken the potential, creativity and the unique ability embedded in one’s self.” Hence, if the unfavourable conditions are not neglected, there will never be favourable outcome.

WHAT CAN YOU ACHIEVE FROM POSITIVE THOUGHT?

• Superior personality: Brian Tracy said and I quote, “an attitude of positive expectation is the mark of the superior personality.” Thus, positive thought gives you superior character which other people will like to copy from you.
• It will motivate you: positive thought will make you see the favourable conditions which will strengthen you to keep pursuing your dream until you achieve it.
• It will make you happy: Aristotle said and I quote, “Happiness is a quality of the soul not a function of one’s material circumstances.” Therefore, positive thought will give you reasons to rejoice even in unfavourable conditions.
• It will make you a sun in the center of constellation: positive thought helps to increase your level among the people who used to be your mate, which will consequently make you a lamp in the path of the talented.
• You can achieve anything you dream for: Stephen King said and I quote, “you can, you should and if you are brave enough to start, you will.” Therefore, since a positive minded person will always chase his or her goal without considering the unfavourable situations surrounding him or her, hence, such person can achieve anything he or she wishes for.

How can you cultivate positivity?
   Firstly, you need to choose the type of people you relate with: Hans Hasen said and I quote, “people inspire you or they drain you, pick them wisely.” Therefore you need to carefully select positive minded people who will help to lift you higher.

• furthermore, Practice positivity in your day to day activities: practice makes perfection, practice positive thought in your little day to day affairs so that it will have become part and passel of you before the arrival of trials.
• Pen-ultimately, learn to consider alternative: you can make positivity a part of you by learning how to achieve your goal with what you never thought of. Rodolfo Costa said and I quote, “cultivate an optimistic mind, use your imagination, always consider alternatives and dare to believe that you can make possible in what others think is impossible.”
• Ultimately, believe in yourself: only a person which is convinced that he or she can achieve his or her goal can be positive in his or her thought, hence, you need to believe you can achieve your goal.

In Conclusion
   There may be millions of talents embedded in you, but without positive thinking, you will never make use of them to their full potential. According to Seth Godin “optimism is the most important human trait, because it allows us to evolve our idea, to improve our situation and to hope for a better tomorrow.” Hence, positivity is what you can’t do without in the expense of pursuing your goal.
