The Mysterious Growth of Mr Elephant (Part 2)

The frog snatched the hoe from the elephant and gave him another slap. The elephant wept profusely and nursed his wounds for days. When his wounds were healed, he went to the market to buy a new hoe because the frog refused to return the one he had borrowed. The elephant took his new hoe home

The next day, as he got ready to go the farm, the lizard appeared and told he heard that he has bought a new hoe, I want to borrow it, little lizard added.

The elephant was dazed but he managed to say that he was going to the farm to mke some ridges. But I cannot let you do that because I also need the hoe, said Lizard to the Elephant, let me have that hoe or else I will make sure to turn you into a punching bag.

Fearing another injury, the elephant gave the hoe reluctantly to the lizard. Soon when the lizard had gone with the hoe, the elephant went back to his room and he began to cry.
That is not fair! everyone bullies me because I am very tiny and wek, I have no one to fight for me. This is really not fair.

As the elephant lamented tearfully, he heard a sound around his door, and when he had gone to check who it was, he found out that it was Mr. Tortoise who was there.
