Brick Saturday

I saw some posts today for the brick photo challenge.

And it's definitely a challenge for the guy living in Alberta, Canada. Wood is the most used building material here.

Somehow I was able to find some interesting photos but it took me quite some time to dig them out.

The brick house is a rare find in Edmonton.

You need to visit the historic street with protected houses.

Educational institutions are one of the last standing brick buildings.

The city planners decided to keep this beauty in Edmonton downtown.

Wow, that is awesome how they kept the brick structure at the base of the skyscraper. Question, are you the steemian who was putting on an "old cars" contest of sorts?

This extremely interesting, how bricks alone are use for building from foundation to roofing... It is worth sharing.
