For me shopping is a mundane task, toiling around the supermarket grabbing the few morsels needed for our evening meal. But to you Paul - it is the basis of an entire Culture - I salute your Tenacity in making our own shopping baskets looks pitiful with your beautiful and varied foodstuffs.
Its a pleasure to do it. The challenge is to change it up a bit. Im so old no I embrace anything that lets my inner child out!

you either like fruit cake or not...for me a not.. my husband loves it. I saw some fruit cake at whole foods with lemon and nuts among other things and they wanted almost 20 bucks for a small one .. I kept walking toward the pecan pie...LOL

I will say fruitcake takes a lot of ingredients that are not cheap, but $20 - YIKES I would walk on too.
