I've Been Getting the Old Photography Itch Again
If you are like me, there is a certain ebb and flow to your interest in your various hobbies. For me I definitely goes through stages...it can be almost any length of time, where I will want to do more videos or get back into taking picture etc. etc.
I picked up these Paperwhite bulbs the other day. I put them over a bed of glass marbles and they are just starting to bloom. The cool thing is they dont require dirt, just water. They really smell nice too!
The cool thing about Steemit is that it gently forces me to do a few clicks everyday. I like it, and hope you do too!

I know you pride yourself on posting what interests you and I have tried that time and again, only to fall flat. But, I can honestly say that there is forgiveness when you post something that pleases the masses.

Maybe I will settle into a niche, and perhaps I won't. I mean, I have recently found I like interviewing. Who knew?
I love your paperwhites. So resistant to dying. Sort of like you. You post it, like it or not and invariably, you still come up a winner. Tried and true you are.

You have a lot more followers now Sunshine! You should post what interests you. If a few fall flat while you build that audience, its OK. They wont fall too flat with me and your loyal followers waiting on your posts!

This is so weird as I've been zeroing in specific photographs. I have so many from Dubai that are what some would say are a bit 'arty' or even professional quality.
I like the fact that I'm learning so much more about how my new camera works?
When I got it, I just started shooting without much regard for the settings. Now I'm getting into the nitty gritty of just what this thing can do.

Same thing on YouTube, my friend! The niche channels seem to always do better. I mean I like metal detecting, but there is so much more to life than JUST meta detecting or any other one topic! I totally agree with you and have to go for variety every time!! Upped.
I find it's always good to do a little of your art each day Paul:) I often write little passages or lines each day myself, some lead to bigger things, others not so much. But it all helps refine your style. So it's a good practice you have right there Sir :)
Yes and now Steemit is yet another place to share your little passages. I like how you are coming along. Another engaging poet is a guy I recently met. He answers every comment and is just stating out as well is @quillfire. If you feel like making a comment,tell him I sent you. He likes poetry and AI.

I've had an itch to take photo's lately too but I want to go into nature while I do it. So far, mother nature is not cooperating with me. lol
Sometimes I will bring nature indoors. Just walking from the car I got a rose still hanging on my rose bush and a small flower sitting on the snow. I am going to post them up !

I get those times when I just don't feel inspired by anything enough to stop and take a shot, and then something will catch my eye and suddenly I see promise in everything around me.
It's probably a seasonal thing with me, at the moment it photos, then art.

It's so true that the limiting factor is always time. You could have way more money than you need, and fund all these awesome and super-expensive hobbies but, ultimately, you won't have enough hours in the day to get really proficient at many of them.
Yes indeed. I think at the end of the day its a matter of balance. You just got to find the sweet spot that works for you.
