We started last week with our Blog development prompt for the month of March. The prompt of the Month was Momentum

The blog prompt was an Initiative I started to help people gain clarity of what they need to work towards as 2018 goes on. It may look like there is till time, but two months is already gone and we are almost half way through the third

There is nothing that is as Important as having what you are working towards even though you are still trying to figure out what you going to work fully on thriugh your Steemit blog

I hope that we achieve our goals for this month of March.

Blogging without strategy on Steemit is not something I will advice anyone to do. This is not a place where you come to after your daily activities to pass time. This is a place where you can build something truely unique for yourself and yes for those who keep asking. Steemit can be a full time job if you desire it to be so

I certainly agree with you! When I joined steemit I just had the idea that it's just to write articles and get paid, until I realized it's more than that, Now I'm building my audience gradually because very soon every thing I'll be doing here Will be Music and Science related, watch out for my track with @destinysaid soon!

I've heard cases of people quiting their jobs and turning steemit to their full time job, trust me the pay some people get from one post is what they get monthly from their jobs so tell me why they should keep working?

I strongly advise everyone here to keep in mind that we're heading somewhere and if you don't have a strategy or a vision you'll be left behind in the movement. Thanks @ogochukwu for sharing.

The second post of the week was titled On Life: The Seven Stages Of Dominion

In this post I talked about the stages everyone has to pass through in every endeavour in life

The seven stages are Devotion, Deliverance, Discovery, Development, Deployment, Dominion and Death

It is a post I will advice everyone to read. I will even advice you to leave this post follow the link above and read this post then you can come back here and tell me how the post helped you

Hello @Ogochukwu

This is truly one of the best posts I have come across on steemit since I joined this platform.

Death

Now when I say death, I don't mean physical death, I am talking about self abandonment. This is the stage where you no longer live for yourself, but for others.

This last D is the most important to building our society/world, but unfortunately, it's the most lacking in the society today. Just a few are willing to be teachers or help others grow.

No matter how dominant you are in any field you still have to know that you are a servant there.

My father said something to us that, beyond success, there is yet another level, which is significance — This is the point where one has gone beyond pursuing personal success, but pursuing the success of their successors. Only a few get to that point.

Like you rightly said — Humility is the key.

hello @ogochukwu, i love this piece. i think this was for someone like me now, who knows his path to dominion but still also at the discovery stage, knows he has to deploy himself but he is still has not developed himself...

Thank you , as always, your content is queen, it has got me on checkmate.

The third post of the week was titled Navigating The Murky Waters Of The Blockchain

This is a discussion post where I asked of the opinion of the steemit community about the recent happenings in the Blockchain world ranging from the Binance hack to the current state of ICO's . I also asked them to share about the recent happenings they have noticed in the Steem Blockchain

Though I don't really know much about blockchain in toto but I have to the realization that there several factors that influence this cryptocurrency :one of which is awareness and usage. I stand to be corrected, I believe bitcoin is where it is today because of its awareness by many individuals. I have observe a continuous decrease in the price sbd and steem this few days.

I read through an article written by one of the whale in this community and what he was clamouring on was that he is tired of steemit and feel like investing his time to other platform. The question I threw at him was that

if we all decide to leave, who then will develop our steemit, I made him understand that he has gone a long way to give up so easily on steemit.

The point I am drawing out here is that the success of steemit depends on our collective participation. I believe when more people are active and participate in the use of this sbd and steem, it will really rise.

I know there was a time it rose to about 15, this is still achievable.

One of my worries also is the heavy data usage by steemit platform, I think they have to do something about it, so that more people will have reasonable time online. These are my few observations and proferred solution.

We're Humans, greed and corruption can never be eradicated from us but we can only hope for the best and the security of blockchains should really be their priority, hackers are making these platforms unsafe for us, just recently my friend was scammed of "40 steem" it was transferred from her account and the steem is still in the scammer's wallet, we're trying to see if something can be done to help.

Different solutions to this problems have been proferred. Regulations, outright bans of ICO's and a whole lot of suggestions by the Crypto community

I agree with the Ban of ICO'S. Any coin that is genuine and here to stay should earn our 'Trust' and acceptance and not buying it with ICO'S. That is why I believe so much in Steemit, they have earned our trust and showed us that it's here to stay and help everyone.

The security if our blockchain wallets is really my greatest concern now. Thanks for sharing this man!

The fourth post of the week was titled On Relevance: The Present Of Snapchat and The Future Of Steemit

This post was a review of the Innovation going on in the social media world in respect to Snapchat and what Steemit has to learn from it

There have been a lot of disatisfaction about how things are run on this platform and if this continues we might see a huge exodus from this platform

The post also saw Steemians share the things that they feel are harming this platform

Business is a war between intelligent people hiding behind the brand and eliminating a competitor is part of winning the war.

Steemit might or might not become the myspace of our time but one thing that's sure and that I believe in so much is the great potential of the steem blockchain.

One thing that pisses me of recently here is the reach of post which is poor and responsible for no or little engagement.

How can someone with 2k followers make a post and get just 6 views in over 5 hours?

That's bad, it reducing engagement and kills productivity.

@molokwu said

Something needs to be done about voting bots. It takes away social from the media platform. When I joined steemit, for every post there was a considerable number of engagements.

Now, you see a trending post with just 1or no comments. The upvotes are from bots and curation trails. If it continues like this, how will a Minnow like me not give up?

The last post of the week was titled On Dreams; The Making Of Joseph

Joseph was one of the most inspiring characters and there is a lot of things that we can learn from his story.

The Power of dreams and the importance of dedicating yourself to excellence.

We all have dreams of what we want out of Life, but the main thing is making out time to work those dreams out so that they become a reality

"When you are good at what you do. You will be able to rise above sentiment and hate."

I really like that phrase. Indeed, when a person is engaged in what is his calling, he becomes kinder, more just and able to overcome the negative in himself. Such people are not prone to hatred and condemnation of others. They want peace and goodness. They Have the ability to find good sides even in those people who hate them, envy them and desire evil. Find your way in life is a great happiness, it elevates man above the passions.

I have observe and experience what you said in my life and your word truly confirm that the greatest obstacle in life is the last success you made. And this sound to me that there is more in life and there is a need to press high to unleash the best out of our life.

Just like what i red today which says that when you have the opportunity to rip off life , rip it completely because when life have the chance ,it will even take your last breadth. I am happy to come across this post because really ,it has awaken my spirit man to press more in this journey of greatness. Thanks my dear , have a splendid night .

Thank You all for reading and your constant engagement. I appreciate

I upvoted your contribution because to my mind your post is at least 31 SBD worth and should receive 119 votes. It's now up to the lovely Steemit community to make this come true.
