The Lego Movie is one of the best animated movie I have ever watched, for those who don't know, it is a movie that is based on the Lego Line of construction toys
Prior to the release of the movie, the only segment of the population that had anything thing to do with Lego were mostly children, but the movie succeeded in bridging the gap and cut across every section of the population
The Film was released on February 2014 and was praised by critics and it was a Family favourite, it earned a total of $469 million worldwide, it got seven nominations across different Awards and won three
The LEGO toy company itself saw its profit boosted in the first half of the year due to strong sales of the products linked to the movie
The company reported a whooping 12% increase in Net Profit after the Lego Movie Kits exceeded expectations
Bringing It Home
Yesterday saw the announcement of The Steemit Hardfork Movie Series which is an amazing initiative that was jointly announced by @ericvancewalton, @dougkarr, @the-alien and @andrarchy
It is movie that has a similar concept to that of the Divergent Movie, but instead of factions like Dauntless and Erudite, the movie will showcase the happenings in a world of Centralised vs Decentralised factions and it promises to be a series that will leave audiences spell bound like the Game Of Thrones series
This series has the potentials of bringing Steemit to the front row of the Media landscape, and it has the potential of reaching people all over the world faster than any other form of promotional campaign
Cryptocurrency and Steemit is still out of reach because they mostly fail to see it for what it is really is and I believe that the Hardfork series will go a long way in bridging the gap with entertainment
