Colour Challenge: Art. Must be.
The big handle suggested there could be some utility to be had from this object, but on closer inspection, I decided it served no practical purpose, so I have classified it as art:
Olympus Stylus 1s, 85mm, ISO100, f2.8, 1/1000s
It is also red, so I posted it, which seemed the right thing to do, what with it being Monday and all.

When I visit a museum of contemporary art I have the same thought all the time :D

I feel the purpose of an art is usually defined by the observer. From my experience, most arts usually don't have a general purpose, but are just channels through which the artist expresses himself(imo)
From my experience, art might not have a general particular interpretation, but rather is usually interpreted by the viewer, based on the point of view from which she is viewing it. So the image above should be interpreted by the viewer, based on how he or she views it

Waarom zonde? Het is niet weg, alleen ergens anders in een andere vorm.
De technische problemen zijn maar een deel van het verhaal; er gebeuren andere dingen die me veel meer ergeren, genoeg om te overwegen iets anders met m'n fotos te gaan doen.
