Butterflies from my region: the not so colourful

Some butterflies look spectacular, some look more modest. I like them all.

The green-veined white:

A ringlet. They don't mind rain much:

The longhorn moth. It actually flies around with these antennae:

The common heath. The tend to hide in heather, and they hide well, but not well enough:
