Tree Tuesday: Willows
Two very Dutch summer photos to compensate for a gray day.
The first willow has seen some pollarding, an old practice aimed at getting many new shoots for making baskets and such:
Olympus Stylus 1s, 35mm, ISO100, f8, 1/80s
Olympus Stylus 1s, 35mm, ISO100, f5.6, 1/80s
The plant growing on the second one is ground-ivy (Glechoma hederacea), hondsdraf in Dutch.
