Changelly back on Steem
The list seems to be completely restored.
Including Steem Backed Dollar {SBD}, Golos and Golos Backed Gold {GBG}.
USD and EUR will soon be listed again
Now the communities of Steem and Golos have a wide range of conversions to choose from. Where the Bitshares side of the Bitmoney spectrum is convered by Blocktrades, for Steem only. The rest of the realm now is supported by Changelly. And it seems that Poloniex now also can handle the popularity growth.
Two major centralized exchanges, Bittrex and Polonies, support Steem and partly Golos. The Decentralized EXchange {DEX} of Bitshares supporting Steem. While Blocktrades and Changelly support a wide range of direct conversions, mainly for Steem. Golos conversions can be done again using Changelly.
All in all that is good news for the fastest kids on the blockchain. You know, the ones that go like: 3-2-1-DONE!

Yes....Poloniex is the only one supporting some of the lesser known alt-coins. With several less than positive reports....it is good to hear a positive one.

I waited 5 days to receive my Steem order from Changelly, by that time the exchange rate when from 130 STEEM to 101 Steem. Ugh!! What a disappointment.
That is quite a lemon you got there. Perfect is different, there were some hickups due to Poloniex challenges. Before that the conversions were almost instantly. Do not know how they are now though.
I haven't used them since they fouled up my transaction. They should be back up to normal. How about you test the waters for me? lol
Just used Changelly with Golos to GBG. And next GBG to SDB, that should appear in my wallets history soon...

Question: why would someone send SBD to a exchange to trade it for Steem? We could do this within Steemit (converge) right?
Or is this just SBD to Steem and not Steem to SBD?

One reason to use services like Changelly to convert SBD - STEEM or STEEM - SBD might be ease of use.
If you convert Steem Backed Dollar {SBD} to Steem from your wallet it will take 3.5 days to do so. If you would want to convert Steem to SBD and vica versa you could also use the internal market. That will actually give you a better exchange rate currently, yet some find this difficult to use.
But if you want to exchange SBD and or Steem directly to say NLG, than Changelly gives you an advantage, by directly converting it from one to the other. Without one having to use a trading market.
