STEEM Representative Report.png

Hello Steemit Team! This is my first time writing a report, so it will probably be different from the ones you are used to. For me, this report is, first of all, an opportunity to talk with you. After all, someone on your team is doomed to read these boring and uninteresting reports, right? Dear reader, I sympathize with you. I hope you at least made yourself a cup of coffee.

I have been putting off writing this report. Why? First of all, I don't do anything extraordinary. Secondly, asking for a reward from you every week is probably too often. Therefore, I wanted to write reports less often. But, seeing that everyone else had already reported, I decided that I should too. So, let's take a critical look at what I was doing here.

Communication With Users

We are a community. This means that we are made up of separate individuals. The more successful users among us who work diligently to create content and develop their accounts, the more attractive and stronger we as a community will be. Yes, we also need investors, but they will come to a strong and successful community.

At first glance, everything is simple in Steemit: you write posts and get rewards. But you and I know that in reality everything is not so simple and there are many nuances. Therefore, in my understanding, our task is to ideally communicate with each user and clarify the details. I try to do this and I want to give two specific examples: here and here.

Contest

I currently only run one contest: the WOX Travel Contest. But I am proud of it, because almost all the posts of the members are decoration of the platform. These posts are interesting, well illustrated and show us different corners of the Earth.

In the last contest, 10 participants took part, and the prize pool was 21 STEEM.

I have plans to hold other contests as well, but I will tell you about them when they come to life.

STEEM Promotion

You may remember that pollito22 and I assembled the STEEM Marketing Team. Then pollito22 and his wife suddenly left the platform. We lost access to Spanish accounts. For some time I managed the English STEEM accounts on three social networks: Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. You can learn more about the results of this work from the last report.

I've been expecting pollito22 to come back for a while, but it doesn't look like it's going to happen anytime soon. So I decided to restart our team. The first step was the transfer of the Facebook account to the management of @ubongudofot. From now on, he will handle this account. I believe that it will be much more effective. Until now, I duplicated content on Instagram and Facebook. From now on, the content will be different. The Facebook account has more than 2,800 followers, so it needs special attention.

I have some more plans in this direction, but I'll let you know when/if they come to fruition.

Other Activities

Before my report turns into a long and boring article, let me briefly talk about my other activities:

  • I am a curator in the Millionaire team. I work on Wednesdays. I think you already know very well whether my work is good.
  • I am a moderator in the large WORLD OF XPILAR community.
  • Twice a week I produce an issue of the WOX Community Blogosphere Magazine. What is it for? When preparing the magazine, I reread or review each post in the community, discovering new authors. If necessary, I communicate with authors, give advice. The main goal is to support honest and talented authors. And here I am not talking about my 22 cents, which my vote can give to the author. There are other types of support, such as curation trail or booming. In this way, I strive to ensure that no conscientious author is left without support.
  • I check individual posts daily for plagiarism and AI. This is a Sisyphean task, but it must be done so that the platform does not turn into a garbage dump.

Power Up

During the week I only Power Up 50 STEEM. This is because most of my posts were set to 100% Power Up. Overall, since applying to be a STEEM Representative, my STEEM POWER has increased by:

27,415.98 - 25,232.14 = 2,183.84 SP

Dear Steemit Team! I still want to say a few words, but not to ask for a bigger reward :)

I support your efforts to support and grow that segment of the community that honestly creates content, interacts and acts as this platform was originally intended. Building a community is not an easy task. And it is no less important than development. But there are also big problems and obstacles. I don't even want to imagine what this platform would have turned into without your support.

Now you have us and if you (or we) have new ideas, we can always discuss it in Discord. I hope that together we will really manage to build something big.

After reading the second paragraph, I knew: you will be my hero... ;-)

I'm surprised you read such boring things as reports :-)

you read such boring things as reports

In fact, I rarely do. But I do have to check what the "newbies" are up to or whether they are among the bores.... ;-)
Nevertheless, I always look at the reports of the sc teams (not the statistics, of course, but the suggested posts) - I have to know if they work as well as we did once... ;-)

I have to know if they work as well as we did once... ;-)

It was an unforgettable experience, wasn't it? But for some reason, some of our team members became inactive after that. Maybe this job is too much trouble and together with other responsibilities on this platform it is too onerous?

It was an unforgettable experience, wasn't it?

Oh yes! Impressive also how seriously we took our task! It was a very nice time. However, also a bit exhausting and without Gorilla's good preparatory work for me hardly to overlook.

Maybe this job is too much trouble

If you work as intensively as we did, certainly. Nevertheless, I think it's possible to reconcile the job with real life, especially if you help each other out in special situations as well as we did (well, four out of seven...).
Maybe the fighters had to see too many abysses... ;-)

well, four out of seven...

:-)

Yes, I miss those times. Usually it is difficult to work in a team, because everyone has their own opinion and everyone thinks that others should do as they think is right. But our team had a completely different atmosphere.

Thank you for a very good first report.

Regarding the Spanish language accounts held by @pollito22, maybe his father @pelon53 might be able to help get the account details so they can be used again.

I sent @pollito22 a message on Discord, I think he will reply. If not, I'll be sure to ask @pelon53.

Greetings @steemcurator01, I was able to communicate with my son and in the next few hours he will give the account details to @o1eh.

I will be waiting for the keys to reach o1eh.

Thank you very much

Thank you @pelon53 :)
