Marrakech and the Atlas, Morocco
Marrakech is an Arabic jewel lost (and found!) in the middle of the desert and surrounded by the protective eye of the Atlas which lies behind the city.
The trees are mainly palm trees or date trees. I sincerely can't tell the difference between them, can you?
Even the telco's antennas are disguised as palm trees, as you can see in the photo ;) (the tallest ones are antennas).
We get particularly overwhelmed by the magic colors of the architecture- ochre yellow, oxide red, and deep, rich brown - which are brightly vivid under the sun rays!
Taken with my Canon 5D MkIII and Sigma 24-70mm f/2.8 IF EX DG HSM Lens.
Edited with Lightroom.
Settings: Shutter speed 1/1000 at f/11, 70mm, ISO 100.
This is also my entry to the wonderful Colorchallenge, initiated by @kalemandra - TuesdayOrange
and the
